1)Good will hunting- excellent, worth a rewatch

2) Tag- funny. Well done. Remember reading the wsj article

3) red dawn- didnt remember the 1984 having so many foreign language moments. Didnt have subtitles for russian or spanish. Understood a decent amount of the spanish dialogue

4) Major league- willie mays hayes and charlie sheen as wild thing. First time watching… really good

5) Twisters- excellent. Was it better than the first one? I can’t say without rewatching that one.

6) Big trouble in little china- my friend ryan loves this one and i can see why. Its silly but funny and a comedy mixed with an action movie

7) Commando- great. What a bodycount though. Highly improbable like Alyssa milano as his daughter

8) Hoosiers- Finished as march madness started to appear. Obviously this is the high school game but what a great true story. Amazing it took me this long to see it.

9) Death race 2000- funny and dark you can see why its a cult classic. Short movies so worth a rewatch

10) Pumping iron 2

Features women bodybuilders and you can see the debate over what is too muscular for women has been going on for a long time. Feel bad for one of the contestants

11) Van wilder- silly but loosely based on Burt the comedians college career at FSU

12) weird science- ok and an 80s classic. Not sure id watch it again

13) fear and loathing in las vegas

14)Stand by me- excelllent but totally different than i expected. I remember being a kid and someone telling me i looked like the lead actor

15) Race- jesse owens and the 1936 olympics. Good movie for sure

16) breaking the girls- a b movie on tubi but entertaining with some twists and turns

17) carmen and lola- two spanish gypsies fall in forbidden love. What is there not to love about it

18) Godfather- watched on flight. Can see why its a classic

19) Godfather 2- interesting for the backstory on the Godfathers

20) GLOW- enjoyable movie about the 1980s gorgeous ladies of wrestling

21) skin deep- romantic comedy with john ritter from 1989. Pretty good

22) Godfather 3- people said it wasn’t worth watching but it wasn’t bad. Had some scenes of shocking violence like the first 2, just not as good as the first 2

23) Toscana- a restauranteer and cooking story

24) the swimmers- excellent story about Olympic swimmer and syrian refugee

25) platoon- not the first time i have watched it and won’t be the last

26) easy money- rodney dangerfield so its hilarious

27) invisible man- actress from handmaids tale, madmen makes it worth it

28) alfred hitcock birds… amazing. Can see why its a classic

29) flight 93- intense

30) Blues brothers- so good, so many stars!

31) Gladiator 2- better than some say it was but probably not better than the first one

32) Nyad- fantastic!

33) conan the barbarian- silly at times for sure

34) generation iron:natty 4 life. A good look at the natural bodybuilding competitions

35) idiocracy- terrible for many reasons including that it could become the future

36) all quiet on the western front- fantastic, maybe the best movie i have seen this year so far

37) legally blonde- whats vivian got that you dont have, 3 tits

38) Midway- fantastic movie

39) Ali- remember being skeptical when i heard Will smith get the role. It was decent

40) the martian- good story by a great author

41) kingdom of planet of the apes- the remake was good

42) E.T.- the movie i saw in the theater and the last movie my dad saw in a theater. The second time i saw this and the first time for Katelyn

43) Creepshow2- Movie with 3 separate creepy stories. Pretty decent. They didn’t have the Creepshow 1 movie but they had the tv series

44) the running man- great movie, loved the hawaiian shirt

45) creepshow 3- all the stories tied together it was ok

46) jackass 4.5- juvenile and definitely not their best movie

47) taxi driver- robert deneiro and 1970s NYC

48) the ritual- hiking in sweden. Its tough to make a great original horror movie

49) quest for fire- great movie but some scenes too adult for kids

50) whiplash- excellent! Lots of bad language
